Five Staffordshire companies have been recognised for their contribution to business in the 2018 Queen’s Awards for Enterprise
The companies have been recognised for their outstanding achievements in areas including innovation, international trade, sustainable development and promoting opportunity through social mobility.
The awards were made to:
- Addmaster Ltd (Stafford)
- Busy Bee Nurseries (Shenstone)
- Cobra Biologics (Keele)
- Swift-Cut Automation Ltd (Tatenhill)
- The Wool Packaging Company Ltd, Stone
The companies will be receiving an award from HM Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire, Mr Ian Dudson on behalf of the Queen.
Ian Dudson said:
“I would like to congratulate all our winners in what is an amazing achievement. These are always very competitive awards so making the final honours list is wonderful news for the companies and staff involved. This is also our joint highest total in recent years and is testament to the great businesses we have in our county.”
Philip Atkins, Leader at Staffordshire County Council added:

The honours demonstrate the UK’s strength in many sectors including engineering, software development, life sciences, product design, and education.
