Gill Heath, Cabinet Member for Communities and the Environment

 

Gill Heath was elected as a county councillor in 1997 and represents the Leek Rural ward. She is the Cabinet Member for Communities and the Environment.

She was born in the Staffordshire Moorlands and has always been involved with agriculture.

Whilst a County Councillor, Gill has served on the Fire Authority and Police Authority. Gill also serves on the National Peak Park Authority as representative of the County Council and has done since 2009. Gill was elected to Staffordshire Moorlands District Council May 1995 and is still a serving councillor for Dane Ward. During that time she was portfolio holder for finance 2009/2013.
